Rev. Steve Molin
The “Church Sign Guy”
Steve Molin has been a Lutheran pastor since 1982, having served congregations in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Salem, Oregon. He has been senior pastor at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Stillwater, Minnesota since 1999. Prior to being ordained, he served as Area Director for Young Life, an interdenominational Christian youth organization. He holds degrees from Concordia University and Luther Theological Seminary.
While a self-decribed “sports nut,” Steve grew up in Minnesota, playing several sports competitively in high school and college. As a goaltender, he played hockey against Wayne Gretzky on NBC’s Sportsworld in 1986. Now he resorts to golf, jogging and swimming (in the shallow end of the pool!).
Steve has written three other books:
•GameDay: A Sports Devotional for Kids (2000, Cross Training Publication of Grand Island, NE)
•Journey of Stones (2003, CSS Publishing, Lima, OH)
•A Faith for All Seasons, a small group study (2005, CSS Publishing, Lima, OH)
Steve and his wife Marsha live in Lake Elmo, Minnesota and are the parents of two grown children.
